Check It

So I peeped out this new up and coming designer Yunju Lee months ago. She's a total GENIUS. While in class we had an assignment to search for new designers for menswear, so I got in contact with her for some more tidbits for you.

Check out her play on men's accesories below.

"The collection will be available from mid May or early June from one of the jewellery shop called "Kabiri" in London. (www.kabiri.co.uk)

The prices vary depend on the material, I would say, it starts from £70.00 to £3000.00 (this is gold metal collar made of silver) "

Press Release

Yunju Lee a young graduate of the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (London, UK) - (BA) Jewellery Design in June 2008.

Her work is nonconformist and rather unconventional and it was revealed from her collection ‘It stains itself as a precious thing’. This collection brings as a breath of fresh air in the world of exclusive jewellery and it successfully showed to public during her degree show in London jewellery week in June 2008. And she was selected to show her collection again at New designers SELECTION as part of London design week 2008.

Recently, she showed her work first time in Paris at prestigious Premier Class- Les Tuileries March 2009.

Small every day life mishaps are her starting point of creation. Her exquisite jewellery and the collection which was about “worthless and unpleasant stains which we find in our everyday lives” were transformed into precious jewellery. A set of ketchup dribbles stain to be worn on your tie, black enameled sterling silver ink stains to pin on your shirt or an cheeky lipstick trace set on a solid gold collar. More girlie lips and charming milk mustache (nose ring) can be found at the collection. Her funky and delightful collection will be available very soon and she is the one you need to keep an eye on for.

In the weeks to come......

......I will be going to school. Since I'll be stressed like hell - I'll be hitting up the stores and trying on new clothes and shit.!. I'm getting a better camera so I can show you what I do when I hit up Macys(they hate it-I don't) . I rarely buy all the clothes I try on ,but I take a truck load of pics.
